I am Sakurai, the Representative of Vitalify Asia. I relocated to Vietnam as an engineer and development manager at the time of our company's founding. Vitalify Inc. acquired Digiper Vietnam Co., Ltd., and Vitalify Asia Co., Ltd. was established. The current Managing Director, Mr. Sakurai, joined as the Chief Development Officer, and the current Vice President, HienHQ, also joined. They started the offshore software development business in Vietnam, focusing particularly on mobile app development. They were among the first in Vietnam to start developing for iPhone/Android, later becoming pioneers of the lab-type development boom in Vietnam.
The office was relocated to the newly opened Vincom Center Dong Khoi (1st store), and the current Development Director, Mr. Kato, joined. They quickly adopted DevOps development and Multi-Platform development, which have become common in Vietnam, and established the foundation of our current development organization.
With the desire to transform into a more unique company with greater freedom and independence, the office was moved to the current Villa office with a garden. The office became a space where events and BBQ parties could be held with guests. Additionally, we began actively accepting internships from students in Japan and Vietnam.
As an engineer-turned-executive, he started with the goal of elevating the Vietnamese IT industry, working on equal terms with the world, and aiming for a world where software made in Vietnam helps people globally, improves productivity, and allows people to live more creatively.
Leveraging his experience in establishing incubation facilities in Vietnam and various ASEAN countries, he started offering support services for companies entering Vietnam, assisting a total of six companies with their entry.
Since 2018, we have been focusing on AI research and have been dedicated to various AI studies. We achieved high rankings in AI competitions on Kaggle (Google) (holding the Master title). We obtained a patent for developing AI software that predicts responses (value predictions) for real estate properties.
Consistently conducting transparent and appropriate accounting operations, we were recognized as an excellent tax-paying company by the General Department of Taxation in Vietnam in 2022. It is an honorable award given to only 190 companies across Vietnam, and the activities of our back office support our growth.
We started providing excellent Made in Vietnam services to the Vietnamese market, which is the foundation of our activities.
